  In December 2019 Professor Anoush Margaryan received a grant (€ 121,000) from the German Volkswagen Foundation to examine skills and learning practices in AI-based workplaces, in collaboration with Social Science Research Centre Berlin (WZB), University College London (UCL), and Free University of Berlin.

In November 2019 Professor Anoush Margaryan received a research grant (€ 15,000) from the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop) to undertake a comparative study of microworkers’ and online freelancers’ workplace learning practices in online platform work.

The first meeting of the Advisory Board of the RiBL project was held at CBS on November 28th 2019.
